ProcessWatcher vs. Task Monitor Plus

Post by nYce » Thu May 31, 2018 10:25 am

Hey Guys,

i want to track, if i start/stop some programs (games, movieplayers,...) to change my settings.
Which one of the Plugins seems better for that use?

Also for leaving it on in the background when playing games?
At the moment i'm using the ProcessWatcher, but i think TMP could also do the job very well.

I think both plugins are great work and dont want to discredit one of them.
It's just about, what is more reliable, what uses less resources and so on. :)

TMP is newer?
Any suggestions or ideas?

Holy cow am i late to the show.

Process Monitor does just that. watched processes.

Task Monitor watches Windows and what window is active. if you use the Task Monitor Plus plugin the payload of an event contains all sorts of goodies for controlling the window that caused the event.
If you like the work I have been doing then feel free to Image
