ESP-OLED

Post by Pako » Thu Nov 09, 2017 11:25 am

I made the first version of the ESP-OLED plugin.
I think it worked quite well.
All the information and files you can find on my GitHub.

Example of use:
In cooperation with the Pushbullet plugin, it can display the SMS that your smartphone receives.
SMS.png
SMS.png (5.27 KiB) Viewed 155 times
Python Script content:

Code: Select all

pld=eg.event.payload[3]
if pld[u'package_name']==u'com.android.mms' and pld[u'application_name']==u'Zpr\xe1vy':
    eg.result = "SMS:\n"+pld['body'][-300:]
else:
    eg.StopMacro()
Python script you have to edit according to your terms. In particular, application_name, this will vary according to your language.

if you use AutoRemote and AutoNotification, you can pretty much forward any notification that comes to your phone to this :)
Thank you very much

Thank you for the information, I'm glad you're trying.
It is possible that I forgot to attach another modified library, but in connection with tuneHandler I do not remember anything ...

Note:
In the Arduino/libraries directory are files that I had to modify (before compilation).
It is necessary to replace the original files (with the same name) using these files.

Which version of EventGhost do you use?
I'm using 0.4.1.r1722.

1) Run EventGhost with -debug.
2) Try adding a plugin.
3) When it freezes, kill EventGhost.
The Log.txt file is now in the C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\EventGhost directory. I need to see its contents, especially the end of the file. There should be seeing what is happening.

There are several options. For example:
1) Using the command line (cmd): "eventghost.exe -debug"
2) Use the .bat file. Create the "run.bat" file. Type "eventghost.exe -debug" into it. Save and run.
3) Using a shortcut. Create a shortcut for EventGhost. Use the right button and select "Properties". In the "Target" field, write "-debug" to the end. Save and run.

I hope it is understandable despite my poor English.
