[OPEN] Keystroke emulation bug

Post by fanboy » Thu Aug 09, 2007 10:01 pm

There seems to be a bug in keystroke emulation. Using keyboard plugin, I created a macro to emulate {up} when keyboard.1 is pressed. But it generated a duplicate event when "1" is pressed. I may not be using this correctly since I am new to EG.

The log is as follows:
Keyboard.1
Emulate Keystrokes:{Up}
Keyboard.Up+1
Keyboard.1
Emulate Keystrokes:{Up}
Keyboard.Up

Please advise.

Thanks.

EDIT: I found a workaround by using autorepeat.

Yes, the problem is, that the Keyboard plugin also takes your emulated keypresses into account. This is a design failure, but can't be fixed so soon.
