This was a bug in EG. Thank you for the report.

I just uploaded a new beta (787) that should work.

Does your receiver generate repeating events if you hold down the button on the remote? Then it might be a good idea to enhance the Serial plugin with an advanced repeat handling in the future.

Yes, my receiver generate repeating events.

Do the repeating events carry a counter? The screenshot looks that way. This would make decoding a bit difficult.

No, it wasn't counter. It was push-buttons 1 till 6.
At repeate is message always the same.
Toggle bits (for example RC5 code) they are masking.

Ok, I just uploaded a new beta that has repeat supression handling.
This way your device should be able to work the same way as all other remote receiver plugins and you should get a red icon as long as you press the button on the remote. You can finetune the timeout value and also remap event names the same way as described in this thread:

Thanks for useful uplift.
I had not with this bigger troubles (only very seldom), but now it is perfect.
Work it correct - without setting timeouts or event remapping.
