Thank you. Then once created, I rename the Event Name `DirectoryWatcher2.Updated` on the 2nd Plugin?

syntax for wild carding events in EG 0.5 is as follows.

* = multi character wild card
? = single character wild card

*SomeEvent* will capture every event with SomeEvent in it
*SomeEvent will capture every event that ends in SomeEvent
*Some*Event* will capture any event with the words Some and Event in it
?omeEvent will capture any event that is 9 characters long and ends in omeEvent

hope that explains it.

I'm guessing this is the official thread for this plugin.

I have issues with this plugin, it won't trigger an event when a new file is created. I have it watching a folder on my network, I've mounted this folder to my computer (so the folder is displayed there as Z:/ (or whatever).

It works for some time, but I often have to go to the plugin and reset the folder to make it display events again. Is this because I have it watching a network folder? Is there a way to solve this?

I get no errors, it just won't display an event when I create or download a file to that folder after some time.

Which versions of windows are involved in your setup. Win 10 recently dropped smb v1 and it is causing issues for some.

have you tried it with a local folder to see if the problem happens when it is not a network attached drive?

I'm currently trying on a local folder to see if it works, if it does I'll just re do it so I can watch a local folder and not a network folder. Thanks.
