sync an ir blaster 3.5mm jack to my pc

hi to everyone, I have an SAMSUNG IR BLASTER model BN96-26652A and I want to sync to any IR REMOTE CONTROL to use it to control my media home, is it possible to use the IR BLASTER as a IR RECEIVER connecting into the 3.5mm MIC JACK? thanks for the help
