Control through web server

Post by dbbd » Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:11 pm

I have an ipad, and would love to be able to control through EG (I'm using EG with gbpvr, as well as to blast external devices).
I have no intention writing code for the ipad, however, an idea came to me, develop a web page, serve it from the windows pc that runs EG.
Open the web page from a browser, on the ipad, and use its buttons/links/whatever to send EG events.

Does something like this exist already?
If not, how would I program the web server page or cgi to send the events to EG?

(I'm a kernel programmer, not a web programmer, but I do python, and believe I can hack this with some good pointers)

Thanks,
Dan

The webserver plugin is already a part of your EG installation. Also search forum for "dynamic webserver".
