Re: What remote do you recommend?

[quote="Livin"]Your questions is WAY to general to give any decent answer. Someone that truly wants to help guide you will need to know these answers... a) what do you prefer, hard button or touch screen Open here b) what is your usage model - how do you use your remotes today? Control my TV, DVD, a...

What remote do you recommend?

My remote I use works but is getting dated it's the original X10 remote. What remote would you recommend? Is their a good all in one remote for controlling PC and other devices or is it best to keep these two controls seperate to a good all in one and a single good PC Remote?

Re: Logitech Keyboard - Media Keys

Well I used Generic HID for my G15 and use the first one that shows and the media controls show up perfectly fine in EventGhost. So I know the Logitech keyboard works fine with HID.

example my stop media button. HID.Button.4

Re: Is a volume bar OSD possible?

Yes some here helped me to create a volume bar for MPC that also has percentage after it. This shows how it works in MPC. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> <EventGhost Version="1194"> <Macro Name="Volume Up" Expanded="True"> <Event Name="X10.Up" /> <Action> MediaPlayerClassic.VolumeUp() </Acti...

Keyboard events

Well I can't get a single keyboard event to work.. {ALT+ENTER} to toggle window.. {TAB} that hides text window. None of these keys are read by the application at all. And none are seen in the EVentGhost events. Is their a plugin that will actually emulate true keyboard because emulate does not work ...

Re: OSD to show current time / end time

Thanks molitar...I'll check that out. I also somewhat took care of the issue with the information in this link... TextGrab Plug-in http://www.eventghost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1962 It was very handy. Thanks for the update on that plugin.. now that is a damn useful plugin that I will definite...

Re: OSD to show current time / end time

For Main volume control I use a freeware software called 3RVX it has all sorts of skins for volume control. So when you change primary volume you have an OSD bar. So I don't bother with a main volume OSD in Ghost for their is no need nothing beats 3RVX for that purpose. On side note I have really le...

Re: OSD to show current time / end time

Pako, thanks but your missing a set of brackets in the Find where it is u'{*}Media Player Classic', it should be u'{*}Media Player Classic{*}', . Took me a little bit of studying of the prior OSD to figure out what was different. I modified the script to further show the percentage at the end of the...

Re: Determine window status (fullscreen, maximized, minimized)

Yeah jinxdone script works great but I also do a jump to call a windows restore before I change maximize or minimize of the window. This way if I am in full screen before calling it my normal window view does not get messed up. If you have mpc remember window size like I do I don't like it auto resi...

Repeat a number of times event than continue

I would like to see a nice action event we can drop at the bottom of a macro for repeat <n> number of times. This way we can the macro repeat itself that many times than exit or continue to the next step. I can see many uses where live dynamic data could be retrieved or commands could be executed mo...

Re: OSD to show current time / end time

Hay Pako, Thanks for this script, it was exactly what I was looking for...almost. I'm a Python code know nothing but I tweaked some of the settings to change the font (easy) and also the OSD's screen position (harder at first). Now I wonder if this OSD could be made to just be a simple line/bar gra...
