Re: Help with script error

As far as the errors are concerned i would need to see them in their entirety to know what is happening and I can fix it from there. also some of the 2 seconds for the OSD display might have been in the fading as well. I can adjust the speed of the fading pretty easily. Ok after you have fixed the ...

Re: Please help with script it has stopped working

Thanks for that code I did find one minor problem and that was in my detect window I had to select detect hidden also as when it is in fullscreen the controls are hidden so the code was exiting. Took me a bit to figure out the problem but I did and fixed that.

Re: Please help with script it has stopped working

also there is a better way of determining if the window state is actually full screen. a window being maximized and a window being full screen are not the same thing. in order to check if a window is fullscreen you need to check and see if the window has a caption bar or not. I can key something up...

Re: Please help with script it has stopped working

Ok here is current code but getting a new error now. Before the event runs I jump to a WindowState script that determines if the Window is in Normal State or Full Screen. I then assign a value called eg.globals.WindowState but with the new script for some reason I have two problems the first is the ...

Re: Please help with script it has stopped working

Thanks and now I stumbled on problem where all I get is Volume: 0% after updating to Windows 10 build 1903. Is there an easy fix for this problem? Need a little bit more info on this. You are getting the volume for what and from where? From Mediaplayer Classic. Since the update to 1903 the volume j...

Re: Please help with script it has stopped working

Actually restoring the mediaplayerclassic plugin from a system backup fixed it. I am not sure if Windows 10 did something with permissions or somehow corrupted the file. But restoring that fixed the problem. That was all I did was restore from a 1 week backup and it worked. Wonder if a Win 10 update...

Please help with script it has stopped working

This code just stopped working with the python error below. Re: Help with script error

Hi kgschlosser I have been using this code successfully for a while but it has one minor problem. It takes 2 seconds for the OSD to display. Is there any way to speed the actual OSD for display or is this just a limitation in speed for python processing? BTW I tried to use the last code posted but g...

Re: Media Player Classic

Ok the problem is the crappy new MPC plugin.. The stupid thing keeps launching a second blank MPC-HC whenever I open one up. I went back to the old original plugin v1.7 and it's working great. I can now run two different mpc-hc64 and depending on which one is in focus it will control that one. So wh...

Re: Help with script error

that can be adjusted. the first script would always use the first window that FindWindow would locate. so if for some reason it found the other one first. then the osd would be incorrect. you can see that here in this portion of the original code mpc = eg.WindowMatcher(u'mpc-hc64.exe', None, u'Medi...

I've tested it with MPC-BE x64 1.5.2 and MPC-HC x64 1.7.13, both are working.
Ok I was using MPC-BE 1.5.3 and MPC-HC 1.7.9.190. I will try the newer version of MPC-HC and see if that makes any difference.

hmm, strange, it's not happening here on my test machine. :?: I can jump backward (small/medium/large/keyframe/n seconds) and the video continues to play.
What version are you running?

Re: Media Player Classic

Ok it officially seems this plugin is broken in Windows 10. I have tried everything to get it to work reliably even tried to go to MPC-BE and it still can not control the player. The commands like volume up, down, mute none of these work at all from EventGhost. So these are what I tried and finally ...

Re: Help with script error

I found a fatal flaw with this script for my needs. It only works with one MPC open not two. My old script worked with multiples open. Often I will have a video open that I am studying and another player open for some background music. I can no longer do this because of the method it seems where Win...
