Re: SoundMixerEx

I'd like to be able to direct multiple an audio sources (WinAmp, foobar, etc), each "assigned" to a single or set of output channel(s) using a built-in sound card and/or add-in sound cards (like Creative Labs, etc). So if you have a 7.1 built-in sound card you essentially have 8 mono zones, or 4 ste...

EDIT: and obviously mulitple sound cards or a multizone card.

Re: SoundMixerEx

Dexter,
Is there a way to direct a specific audio stream (from an audio player: WinAmp, foobar, etc) to a specific channel?

I'd like to set up multiple players, each tied to a specific channel so I can create a multi-zone audio control.

thx

Re: Anyone doing Multi-Zone Audio control all via PC?

I should have elaborated/clarified I'm looking for Multi-Zone Audio, not Distributed (Streaming)... Multi-Zone Audio vs Distributed (Streaming) Multi-Zone = Zone Unit distributes audio directly to speakers in multiple locations. Single Unit is controlled from multiple locations but is essentially co...

Anyone doing Multi-Zone Audio control all via PC?

Looking for 'free' ways to do multi-zone audio control. I thought maybe someone here was using EG to control multiple instances of WinAmp or something like that.

Re: How? USB-UIRT + XBMC + Harmony Remote

XBMC

thx for the script... i had to tweak it a bit for my remote but works well!

Re: How? USB-UIRT + XBMC + Harmony Remote

Bartman,
the script did not work on it's own... I mapped the buttons again but I still must press the button twice before it passes it through to XBMC?

Is that script working for you?

This 'double press' issue seems like a bug in EG?

Re: How? USB-UIRT + XBMC + Harmony Remote

It does not seem to work? Where are those codes from? Looks like my codes, from MCE Remote to USB-UIRT are different.

Also, why do you have every button map duplicated? (2 for each item)

thx for the help!

Re: How? USB-UIRT + XBMC + Harmony Remote

What type of Action should I add it as?
I tried Python Script and got a syntax error on line 1.

Re: How? USB-UIRT + XBMC + Harmony Remote

Thank you that worked, except...

It seems that I need to press each button twice before anything happens in XBMC? The USB-UIRT flashes which each button press so I know it is detecting it.

Why does this happen?

How? USB-UIRT + XBMC + Harmony Remote

Setup...
USB-UIRT
Harmony 670, programmed as MCE Remote
XBMC

installed XBMC & USB-UIRT plig-ins

EG loads without errors... and "sees" IR fbeing received from Harmony remote... but nothing gets translated into XBMC commands?

I must be missing something simple, I hope?
