Re: HDMI-CEC to USB EG Support for Pulse Eight

the last version I found of libcec is 2.1.3 ... what do you have? I had started to look at using the command line client (cec-client) they provide, thinking an EG plugin could be written leveraging that. I got distracted with a few other things and never got far with it. Have you looked at the cec-c...

Re: HDMI-CEC to USB EG Support for Pulse Eight

Pulse Eight site seems to be down. I have not gone there in a long time so not sure how long it has been down. Though I suspect they are not doing much of anything other than selling devices they will no longer support.

Re: Best RF Remote to Use with EG? - Help needed

MartyMc, My problem was not as I thought... I inadvertently had both EG and the ATI software running at the same time... thus, they were both receiving the RF signal and acting on it. Once I stopped either one, it worked fine. Your issues is likely that the built-in eHome driver is working and so it...

Logitech Harmony Smart Control ... interesting possibilities

I was browsing the info about the recently released Logitech Harmony Smart Control (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/harmony-smart-control) I'm thinking this might have some nice use if we can integrate into EG. They say there is no plans to release the API but I suspect someone could reverse e...

Re: OnkyoISCP plugin

I figured it out... I mimic'd your post and it was not happy. So I went into Windows Notepad (I was using Notepad ++) and copied the spaces before the previous line (to get the same "indent") and it worked... then I looked at it again in Notepad ++ and it shows this... except Exception as e: self.Pr...

Re: XBMC Event Receiver

This plugin is very old and will not work with XBMC 12 or newer. You need to look at XBMC2, it will do what you want.

Re: terRemote - Android remote app for EventGhost

Chris, I understand your point - just making a suggestion for those of us (like me) that only use XBMC. Your app looks great I just don't have a need for it today because I use Yatse and have EG macros trigger based on XBMC events. I'm even to the point that I can remove EG if I moved a few macros (...

do a search for some of my recent posts. I got my motion sensors working using some code from Walter and I uploaded the modification that works for all house codes.

Re: terRemote - Android remote app for EventGhost

Chris,
instead of reinventing the wheel, why not take what you have built for EG and convert it to be a plugin for by far the best xbmc remote, yatse?

Re: How to check variables... then Trigger Macro, or not?

while having it in the core is desirable but if it is easier to make a plugin, maybe that is better? Whatever you decide... i'm in for testing!
