Re: voxcommando use speech to emulate remote key press

You're welcome! :)

Btw. If you're looking for a powerful command processor, I can recommend this one: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10557
(also for spoken command, but you still need something like voxcommando or Google Voice, as it needs the command in text form)

Re: voxcommando use speech to emulate remote key press

Hi smbs, I don't have any experience with voxcommando or simpletv but I would imagine that this isn't too complicated to be setup. So, simpletv takes a number as input for a channel? And I guess in the spoken command event from voxcommando you get the "22" somewhere as payload? Then you just need to...

Re: Broadlink plugin - alpha version

I agree it sounds rather odd when you look at it as a unit directional protocol, but when you assume it as a bidirectional protocol it can make sense! I did some research and found this: https://automata.cs.ru.nl/BenchmarkBRP/Description It's saying that one bit of the code is alternating in order t...

Re: Broadlink plugin - alpha version

Yes, I don't know exactly in what way it is different, but there are two slightly different signals sent by the remote. It's really like a second type of code; let's say you sent the "up" command from type 1, it executes the action. Then you send the same code again 3 times - it does nothing. Even i...

SURVEY: Do you like O-MEGA?

Hi everyone!

I thought it's maybe a good idea to setup a small poll for me to see if you like how the O-MEGA system evolves.

Thanks a lot for voting!

P.S. would be nice if you would also leave a comment below :)

Re: Broadlink plugin - alpha version

Hi Medy, Thank you, I thought so, but it's good to have the confirmation :D After learning some more codes I now came to a point where something is not working. I'm not sure if you can do anything about it with the Lib you are using, or if it's a hardware limitation. I have a device here, it's a BD ...

Re: Broadlink plugin - alpha version

Well, it's a very quick and dirty implementation ^^ It's still not possible to delete or rename IR codes, right? I could mayybe imagine copy paste function code into the shell and run it there ? Pretty much :D And "explore" objects and their current values without the need to print debugging informa...

Re: Broadlink plugin - alpha version

Wow, so fast, awesome! :o Thanks a lot, I need to try it! :) As for the dev environment.. yeah, that can be a little annoying.. but to be fair, if you program something in a compiler language, you also need to compile and run it to perform tests, so it's pretty much the same steps. Main difference h...

Re: EventGhost permanently breaks MCE Remote

Hello leftofdead,

Welcome to EventGhost! Though you didn't have a very good start it seems ;)
There are two MCE Remote plugins, one that is just called "MCE Remote" is only for Win XP and older. Did you install that one? Which OS are you using?

Re: Broadlink plugin - test version

Hi Medy, no worries mate :) and thank you! I don't plan to get a 2nd adapter very soon, but the first one I'd like to use "productively". I didn't start yet with learning a lot of IR codes, as I expect the structure you're using to save the codes will change a little when you add aliases for IR code...

Re: SchedulGhost error

Hmm, there is also a scheduler and a timer plugin that have similar functionality, but Schedulghost is the best.
Also, I'm running this plugin for years without an issue..
Though, I also had that issue before when I stored the .xml on a cloud storage location.
Is your .xml stored on your system disk?
