Re: XMPP Client

I tried to use your plugin, but I did not get it work. I have a jabber account at jabber.de. When starting the plugin I get the following Error: Fehler beim Start des Plugins: XMPP Traceback (most recent call last) (1669): File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\eg\Classes\PluginInstanceInfo.py", li...

Re: OpenWeatherMap

I tried the plugin without using the API field and I did not register at OWM. But I get a result from the plugin. Is this ok?

Re: Battery

I have updated EG. The plugin works now.

I have an additional remark. Perhaps it would be better to fire an Event when the percentage is in a defined interval and not a certain value. Otherwise it could happen that the percentage is skipped when the polling period is too Long.

Re: Battery

Hi Pako, I get an error message, when I save the configuration of the plugin. Traceback (most recent call last) (1640): File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\eg\Classes\Scheduler.py", line 137, in MainLoop func(*args, **kwargs) File "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\plugins\Battery\__init__.py", ...

Re: Nmap

Hi Pako, the plugin creates many Events. It would be nice, if the event groups could be switched on and off like the Connected/Disconnected group. When I see it right you have created the following groups: Away/Present Decreased/Increased Empty/Incomplete/Complete DataUnavailable/DataAvailable Conne...

Re: Nmap

Hi Pako, I got stable results with a scanning period of 10 sec and a security factor of 24. So a leaving device is detected in 4 minutes. In my Network it takes about 6 sec to scan all relevant network adresses. I think the time between the Nmap scans should be set in steps of 1 sec so that everyone...

Re: Nmap

Hi Pako, my WLAN has a weak field in some rooms. So sometimes my Smartphone is reported as "Away" even if it is there. I am trying to reduce the problem by setting the security factor as high as possible and the scanning period as short as possible. I think, the scanning period should be chosen in s...

Re: Nmap

Hi Pako,
could you please add a field at the configuration window to set the time between the Nmap scans? As you supposed, it is not easy to get a stable result due to the power saving modes of the devices in the network.

Yours

Arnd

Re: Nmap

Yes, you did it. The plugin works now. I selected the Nmap install Folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Nmap with the browser opened with the directory Icon. Here is the log: 21:53:53 ---> Willkommen beim EventGhost <--- 21:53:55 Autostart 21:53:55 Nmap.DataUnavailable 21:53:55 Main.OnInit 21:53:55 repr(se...

Re: Nmap

Hi Pako, I wrote the path for the Nmap.exe directly into the plugin. def worker(self, oldT): #print "Nmap worker thread" print "repr(self.myExe) =",repr(self.myExe) res = self.popen("c:\\Program Files (x86)\\Nmap\\Nmap.exe", "-sn -PE -PO -n %s" % self.ipRng) Here is the result: 20:05:02 Autostart 20...

Re: Nmap

The answer is excactly as you wrote (Version 0.5b) 15:04:34 repr(self.myExe) = u'"C:\\Programme (x86)\\Nmap\\nmap.exe"' But are the "\\" at the beginning of the path before the c: ok? 15:04:35 repr(data) = u'Der Befehl "\\"C:\\Programme (x86)\\Nmap\\nmap.exe\\"" ist entweder falsch geschrieben oder\...
