Re: Keyboard plugin and Win10 GameDVR

Also having this issue, thought my g-key was broken for a second till I figured out EventGhost was the culprit. Really don't wanna stop using the keyboard plugin or revert to windows 7 so hope a fix can be found.

Re: Network Broadcast Sender / Listener

I don't understand what you are trying to do but maybe if you can explain it we can suggest the proper way to go about it. To the best of my knowledge, the broadcaster plugin has not changed at all for several years because it works fine as it is. I want to generate an event when I receive a WOL pa...

But I want to use it to create an event when I send a WOL. I've used this before (think half a year ago) and used to work then..
Running latest EventGhost and broadcaster 2.2.

Re: Network Broadcast Sender / Listener

Always get the following error when I send a WOL packet to the port which the broadcaster is listening on: error: uncaptured python exception, closing channel <eg.CorePluginModule.Broadcaster.Server connected 192.168.1.89:7 at 0x4993120> (<type 'exceptions.UnicodeDecodeError'>:'ascii' codec can't de...

Re: Snarl

Variables are parsed when the notification is triggered(expired/closed/invoked). However I want them to be parsed when I create the notifications instead. Any way to do this? Yes, the variables are evaluated at the time, when the notification is triggered. This is by design. However, the solution t...

Re: Snarl

Finally got around to using the new Snarl plugin to update my EventGhost macro's. Running into the following issue though: - Variables are parsed when the notification is triggered(expired/closed/invoked). However I want them to be parsed when I create the notifications instead. Any way to do this? ...

Re: Snarl

Alright, good to hear as I stopped trying  . Will it also be possible to send a payload on closed/invoked/expiration?

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I'm using frodo, 12.3 with an unmodified keymap. Kinda gave up on using the xbox controller though, didn't like it that much. Using Yatse now with some tasker stuff so I can use my phone as a remote by flipping it over.

Re: Snarl

Thanks for the update Pako! Also fixed custom expired/invoked/closed messages for me. I'd like to use variables as payload though, this doesn't work atm. I tried to change the plugin and add a ParseString but haven't been able to get it to work properly.

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Been using this with my xbox controller, seems to work quite well for most stuff, can't get the following things to work correctly though: When I use XBMC: Left/Right Trigger, nothing seems to happen. While my xbox triggers are fast scroll left/right and shoulder buttons are que/go to que. And more ...

Re: Snarl

Is there any way to allow for custom payloads when dismissing/invoking/closing/triggering actions of a notification. At the moment the only payload is the UID, would be nice if you could set a custom payload, for example a variable. This way eg.event.payload[0] could still have the uid and eg.event....

Re: Snarl

Got it to work, for some reason installing an older version of EventGhost while the plugin was still in the folder fixed it. I then removed the older version and installed the latest version again and it is working correctly now. If you are interested in seeing what I do with it see the following li...

Re: Snarl

Whenever I try to add this plugin my EventGhost just crashed. Just copied the files to plugins/Snarl, as you would normally do with any plugin. I can talk to snarl through the growl plugin but this doens't give me the functionality I need. ATM I'm using OS Menu to display messages and respond to em,...
