Re: Re-run macro until condition X is true/false

https://imgur.com/a/ixwbG might give you some ideas.

Basically you set one macro as the default for when the TV is off, so it takes a long time. And then you have a shorter macro which launches stuff immediately, and is only enabled after your screen is attached/TV turned on.

Re: Audio error

Are you muting the right device? Delete the 'mute' action and re-add it, so you can specify the right audio device you want to mute.

Re: Windows Media Center MCE remote in Win 10 in 5 easy steps

Ah, I see, that's interesting. I have Windows 10, and I also have an ehome device under device manager.

It's an HP infrared sensor, for what it's worth.

Step 4. Add the generic HID plugin
What is the reason for adding this plug-in, instead of just the Microsoft MCE Remote (Vista +) one?

MceRemote.Mce.Skip instead of HID.Button.179 with the generic plug-in, seems easier to me.

Re: Sony TV Network Remote Control Plugin

Looks pretty cool.

class SonyAPI.browser.BookmarkItem(sony_api, url='', title='', type='', favicon='')[source]

icon

load()

Loads this website.

Using this combined with Alexa to load a YouTube video of a fireplace when you say, Alexa, turn on fireplace, would be pretty novel. :-)

I've run the script. It results in an empty file. So my Sony TV isn't found.
Same here. File is created, but empty.

Re: New version 0.5.0-rc4 is out

and since you are having an issue with your production EG. I would suggest systematically shutting down one plugin at a time for a day or 2 each and see if it is possibly a single plugin causing the problem. I know this sucks But unless we can isolate exactly what is causing it my hands are tied. I...

Happy Christmas!
Thanks for doing this, and thank you so much for the bridge. Such a cheap, reliable method to automate, especially RF devices.

Merry Christmas 2 years in the future. :)

Re: New version 0.5.0-rc4 is out

I am going to suggest you run some kind of a memory check on your computer. I am thinking there is something wrong there. Or one of the voltages on your mainboard. Do you overclock your computer at all? No, no overclocking. No instability in any other programs, even CPU/GPU intensive ones like game...

I'm up to the max and it's still crashing. I think I'll put it back to the default and see if it helps.

Here's an updated log.
