Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

2. enabling the webserver in EG and making localhost HTTP requests to EG instead of using the -event CLI switch. That's the workaround I've been using for a while now, it works fine, never had an issue with it. The only drawback is that not every program lets you execute an HTTP request, so it may ...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

We all know how hard you work to please us ! you don't need to tell us all that, it's all obvious, you are everywhere and in every topics :) And I know you have already spent a lot of time to try to fix this NamedPipe i...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

Kevin will tell you that he has tested hundreds of events per second without any hiccups :) I believe him, but as for me (and now for you apparently) it simply doesn't work fine all the time... That's too bad because it's a neat feature and very useful but unfortunately unusable... I abandoned the i...

Re: E-mail

you're right, it wasn't related, I forgot to mention it, sorry. But those questions remained unanswered : 1/ is there a way to not specify a minimum check interval when operating in IMAP ? the minimum that could be set is 1 minute. I understand there's a meaning for that while using POP, but IMAP sh...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

I'm talking about firing events from the command line, with the -event switch, it produces that error, is this your case ? are you firing events from the command line from time to time ?

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

I'm sorry to say but this feature is useless, unusable in its current state, so don't waste your time with it, I tried many things with no success.

Re: Slow EventGhost Performance

Hi Kevin, glad to see you're kinda back :) It would be so nice if you are able to achieve what you described, running multiple events at the same time (and getting rid of EG stalling...). Regarding the log part, why don't you display the log pane horizontally instead of as it is now vertically ? One...

Re: XMPP Plus

I'm pretty sure that the random drops in service, and the network change issue are related, if one is fixed the other will be fixed too. But for now, let's focus on the network change issue, here is what happens when a network change occurs, step by step : 1. this information is returned : '[Errno 1...

Re: XMPP Plus

ok, i will try to search but it would be hard to find a library working with python 2.x ....... in the meantime, is there a way for you to update the plugin, and make some changes to make it act as if EG were restarted when the plugin is disabled the re-enabled, it would be a workaround for me until...

Re: XMPP Plus

The issue others are having is the random drops in service with it not reconnecting for some reason. I'm having that issue too, the thing that I don't understand is why this problem is fixed when EG is restarted ? Those 2 problems (random drops in service + network change) are always fixed when EG ...
