I Uploaded a new version to fix an issue when receiving an event with a suffix that is only one char length. if you send prefix.s, you would get an event : defautPrefix.prefix.s It's now fixed. This plugin enable a "rich" dialog between 2 eg (generating events of course, but also sending data, requesting data, remote evaluation of python expr ...) I Have also coded a .Net DLL that implements all the functionalities of this plug...

Eg is designed to run on win32 on x86.

If you need to exchange data between two EG TCPEvents is the plugin you need :

I am using it for months (years ...) it's rock stable.

you could also use autoremote which will make tasker communicate both way with eg without the need to know the IP.

or use dyndns or no-ip or something similar for wan access, or simply a fixed ip for your lan interface if you need only lan access. If you really need to watch for ip change, I think you could save the result of ipconfig to a text file and compare on start, or if its wan, scrap something like http:...

The delay is implied by the unload/reload drivers inside windows. you won't be able to speed it up.
