Re: How to get codec of Audio Stream now playing (possibly with mpc-hc plugin or preferably in general).

Just found this,
gives file path to now playing , looks promising .

I had no idea mpc-be or mpc-hc had a web interface.
Will update post with more info as I get time.

How to get codec of Audio Stream now playing (possibly with mpc-hc plugin or preferably in general).

Does anyone have an idea how to get an accurate eg.result for the codec of the audio track that is playing as part of a video? or also just in general such as when playing music. I would like to use Event Ghost to switch default windows audio playback device and avr-input on my AVR if it is not an H...

Re: Event when TV is connected - possible?

I was trying to get System.DeviceAttached and System.DeviceRemoved events for my secondary display connected via a Sony AVR. I was getting code errors in the EventGhost log either when using the DISPLAY string as part of the trigger event using EventGhost 0.50-rc4 System.DeviceAttached [u'\\\\?\\DIS...

Re: System.Volume Up and Down macro for controlling AVR

Hi, yes, when I get time I will work on it. There is latency as well when passing values to tasker via autoremote and i think it cannot handle the large number of system.volume events generated. I had to put in a 1 second timer to filter out the system.volume events to get accurate values in Tasker,...

System.Volume Up and Down macro for controlling AVR

When using bit streaming for surround sound windows volume control is bypassed. A python macro comparing payload or system.volume changes and outputting Volume Up or Down events every say 100ms could be used to control the AVR volume via IR with windows volume control ! I tried to write some code my...

Re: Broadlink plugin - test version

Hi Medy , that is interesting, I hadn't thought about that. 2.7 was sunset on Jan 1 ,2020. It is just a never ending job to keep software contemporary. At least your work will work with EG but it is a shame if newer libraries won't work. I will let you know if I find any issues if I use EG to run RF...

Re: Broadlink plugin - test version

Great job Medy,
I currently use the RM plugin for Tasker but am happy to see you working on this.
I have also been getting bombarded by those recent emails from IFTTT and am just relieved I didn't actually use them as my method for home automation.
All the best.

Re: AudioEndpoint

Hi, does anyone have any of the last two versions (v2.3.3 or-v2.3.2) as the links for those are broken? I have the CoreAudio plugin but it would be great to try the later versions of AudioEndpoint too.
Thanks.

Get windows volume up or down to send to Tasker to control AVR

Hi, When I am bit streaming from Windows to my AVR the volume is constant so I would like to be able to use my mouse scroller to control the AVR volume using EventGhost, Tasker and the Harmony Hub plugin. I have some clunky code that sends the volume percentage via the AutoRemote plugin as a message...
