Re: Z-Wave

OK you have what is called a multichannel device. Multichannel devices are not supported in the current version of the plugin. I did start working on a new version of the plugin. I have not finished it yet as it is a HUGE undertaking. The new version of the plugin when i release it will support mul...

Re: Z-Wave

I bought a couple switching power outlets. A Minoston Zwave plug outlet MP20Z https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08CY114CX And a Zooz Double plug Zen25 https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MVX4M2Q/ My hopes was to get either of them working with this ewvenghost plugin. So first up is the Minoston outl...

Re: best EG supported device for controlling TV + receiver?

Thanks again for working on this. Stupid Logitech harmony and their "activities" have been the bane of my home automation. I get why they do it, because the average user needs a simple button to push, but being able to control each device individually and fire it off from any device or any way possi...

Re: best EG supported device for controlling TV + receiver?

I don't want to use a pi, some other Linux box or HA\some other software. Already have my windows server going with absolutely everything I need and EG running so much automation. Installing HA and having yet another platform just to send a few IR codes out seems like a whole waste of time. If you c...

best EG supported device for controlling TV + receiver?

I've been using harmony hub forever with IFTTT but recently they have decided to cut off the service and make it a paid subscription model. So I want to move my TV and Receiver onto eventghost. Now since EG doesn't have a harmony plug in and im told there never will be one from another thread, I wan...

Re: Z-Wave

Thanks for the explanation You are only seeing events for the multiple presses of the button because the single press is native. It is handled differently then the multiple presses or the press and hold. ZWave.znetwork.No Room.FIBARO System FGPB101 Button.BasicWallController.Variable.Added {'label':...

Re: Z-Wave

I got a new device today. a FIBARO BUTTON FGPB-101. It's just a single button. (Here is the manual to the button in case it helps) https://manuals.fibaro.com/content/manuals/en/FGPB-101/FGPB-101-EN-T-v1.0.pdf I paired it with my Z stick and Event ghost sees it, but pushing it does nothing. Sometimes...

Re: Logitech Harmony Smart Control ... interesting possibilities

Did anybody ever get around to making this plugin yet? I use IFTTT with the harmony hub and its my last thing I need to eliminate IFTTT and have complete remote automation on my home server. Right now if I want to turn off the TV for example, I have eventghost run a batch script that sends a curl co...

Re: HUSBZB-1 and Zigbee

Thanks. I dont actually own a HUSBZB-1 but from my googling around it seems this is wildly used controller for starting a Zigbee network. And yes from what Ive read it will show up as 2 deperate serial devices with thier own com ports (1 for zwave and 1 for zigbee). People say it is compatible with ...

Re: Z-Wave

I was wondering if I could get some help with this plugin. I have a Aeotec Z stick 5th gen and a monoprice door sensor. I've used some other software to add the door sensor to the zwave stick, so my zwave network now has just 1 device on it, the door sensor. I load the zwave plugin in event ghost an...

Re: Eventghost on Win 10 Raspberry pi

I never really understood raspberry pies outside of using them to build specific portable consoles. Otherwise just buy a cheap all in one computer to make your life so much easier that can run full blown windows. You can find some low spec ones for like $100, and they run even faster than a pi.

HUSBZB-1 and Zigbee

Is there a Zigbee plugin for eventghost? I'm using a Aeotec Z-Stick (Zwave) and a philips hue hub (Zigbee LL) with their respective event ghost plugins just fine, but im interested in buying some of the samsung smart things devices (They tend to be more available and cheaper than others, at least he...

Re: HOLY SHIT WE ARE UP AND RUNNING

Thanks for all the hard work youve put in. I was trying to get a plugin working all day and had to struggle with searching through google cache results. The forums are really important with lots of important information. I think the plugin repository is a good idea. It will be a lot easier to locate...
