Re: Apple TV Plugin

We are currently working on making a variant of EG that does run python 3.5. it is still a ways off. But it is something that you will be able to do. a very optimistic timeline would be a year out. Ya never know. ya never know I may get a wild hair across my ass to get it done faster. or I may win t...

Re: Will a script solve this Android music issue?

I agree with skribb. there are a few things we need to know. The new song you are playing.. is it on the playlist? if the song is on the playlist and you double click on it in the file system, does it play the one that is in the playlist? or does MM create a new temporary playlist and add the song t...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

As i have always stated. I may not be able to find a problem or fix it at the time it is discovered. I will eventually get it sorted out. I never will dismiss an issue as "I cannot replicate". I will keep on trying to fix it. A lot of it also has to do with experience and learning new things. I am s...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

@skribb If you don't mind being a guinea pig. you can download the latest compiled version of EG from [ul=https://ci.appveyor.com/project/topic2k/eventghost/builds/19706509/artifacts]HERE[/url] Snowbird has been running it for a believe bout a day now. I have not heard of any problem with it thus fa...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

Well I am hoping my last bunch of changes work out. @Snowbird is testing them out. we will see if it solves the issue. I have my fingers crossed. I tried to submit the code to be added to the EG core. GitHib is having some kind of a major data issue. Which the timing is about right. Microsoft did ju...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

@Snowbird I know it is frustrating for you. and it is for me as well. I want EG to run properly for you. All of the features. There is a glitch somewhere. the question is where.. Now if you look in the EventGhost News section of the forum you should see a post about 64bit EG. This version of EG has ...

Re: NamedPipe errors / maximum recursion depth exceeded

I have worked on this many times. If you guys state there is an issue with it there is. I am trying to replicate the problem to locate the problem.. and Snowbird you know first hand how many times i have messed with it making the thing in all kinds of different ways. you helped me out with it. I hav...

Re: 64bit EventGhost anyone??!?!?!?!

ok so sorry about the delay on this. I finally managed to get the bugger to build properly. The funny thing is it would build OK on my machine but it would not using appveyor. I finally figured it out.. it was a path issue. https://ci.appveyor.com/project/kdschlosser/eventghost-9ivlx/build/job/a2g6a...

As far as the maintenance goes. I am going to read the site analytical data to see what the slowest period of time is and I will go form there.

Database corruption

Sorry about the errors that were happening if you were posting to the forum. apparently we had some data corruption in one of the database tables. I need to work on making something for EG that will monitor for issues like this and send me a text message should they occur. I do not know how long it ...

Re: Eventghost won't start

the Eg2MbMessages process that is a go between for EG and MusicBee. this process is getting orphaned somehow. if you kill that process then EG should start properly.

64bit EventGhost anyone??!?!?!?!

This is something that was requested on more then a single occasion. There really is no reason to have EG run 64bit except to say that it does. But for those of you that do not like seeing the *32 after the process name or don't like finding your most used aplications in the Program Files (x86) fold...

Re: Has anybody done anything with Sensibo Sky?

That looks as tho their server is not responding to the query. If it was an API change it would not throw a decode error for a json object. because their server would respond with a json object containing an error message.. That is simply that their server is responding but not with a json object. p...
