Re: bug with command line "eventghost.exe -e"

I haven't tried the build yet but here is the link to it if anyone wants to give it a go. This one has the updated named pipe.

Re: bug with command line "eventghost.exe -e"

Ok so I believe I have worked out all the kinks. I am sure someone will find a bug in it. When I get home I will submit the code to be added to EG that will cause a build to take place. When it is done building I will post a link to the download. It will not update the build button at the top of the...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

That's not a bad idea. Let me put together a version using the original libCEC.dll with the "extra goodies" disabled

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

You cannot make it look like an AVR device. But if your AVR supports CEC you should be able to control the volume on your AVR with the plugin. I am going to be putting some time into working on this plugin today I tool a few days ff working on it I am not good at C++ programming so it takes a while ...

Re: bug with command line "eventghost.exe -e"

OK so i have been working on this quite a bit. and I have managed to get this whole thing running as a multi-threaded asynchronous overlapped IO pipe. What this means is it doesn't operate round robin style. so it can handle multiple instances of the pipe writing data back and forth and no set inter...

Re: MouseEvent Plugin

Oh boy. If you could see my PM inbox and the number of people that feel just like you do. No most users are not devs. I get a tremendous amount of PM's asking how to do things. I understand as to why. But never be afraid to ask a question. especially if there is someone there to to answer it. Now I ...

Re: MouseEvent Plugin

I have tried to replicate this on my home system and it work fine. Give this a shot create a blank tree. save the blank tree. then exit eventghost. start eventghost back up. this should reload the blank tree and it also makes sure there is no residue for any plugins still kicking about. Install the ...

Re: MouseEvent Plugin

I want to know why it is installing as a python command instead of an action. You will need to try something for me. Change that command to

eg.result = eg.plugins.MouseEvent.GetLastWheelEvent()

And see if it works then. I will take a look as soon as I get home.

Re: MouseEvent Plugin

OK. it seems as tho you have the MouseEvent.GetLastWheelEvent action disabled for starters. But it also appears as tho that is not the action. but it is a Python Command. try deleting the action and remaking it. Something happened as some point in time where the plugin had an error on startup. when ...

Re: bug with command line "eventghost.exe -e"

OK i have done some work on this as it appears some folks were still having issues. I wrote a pure python implementation dealing with windows named pipes. This is what i have managed to do. if i start 5000 threads one right after the other and each one makes a connection and then sends 1000 messages...

Re: MouseEvent Plugin

@zian are you looking in the program files (x86)/eventghost/plugins/mouseevent folder when you are checking the version? That is not where the plugin gets installed. It gets installed into programdata/eventghost/plugins/mouseevent You can also check the version of the plugin by opening the add plugi...
