Re: Sending strings to a webserver

I mentioned the SSH plugin because you mentioned the use of Network Event Sender. which is keyed to only be able to be used with Network Event Receiver. It functions very similar to Telnet. SSH is a variant of Telnet that has encryption.

Re: X10:Remote Wonder isn't working in Windows 10

I missed you posting this question. for this I am really really sorry. But to answer your question. You need to install the EventGhost X-10 Drivers. but you are going to need to disable the driver signing in windows 10. Even tho Windows 10 will not show an error. and it shows everything is operation...

Re: Sending strings to a webserver

I think that someone made an SSH plugin. I would imagine you can use this since SSH and Telnet are the same thing except one has encryption and one does not. I do not know if you have the ability to disable the encryption in the SSH plugin. but maybe. or you can use realterm and com0com to set up a ...

Re: Retrieve value from a textbox on a window and expose via HTTP

Your first description led me to think that you wanted to pass the data to some form of an HTTP server. Not that you wanted to "host" the data for another machine to retrieve from EG. since the latter is the case then it is done using the webserver plugin. The webserver plugin is not something i am ...

Re: Retrieve value from a textbox on a window and expose via HTTP

If you are trying to capture anything from a browser window. the answer is. Not at the present moment. I know there is someone that is working on making a browser plugin that will allow something like this to be done. The reason why you cannot grab from a browser window. is because the GUI in a brow...

Re: Event is not Triggered

OK so back to responding to your question..

I am going to need you to send me a copy of your save file. You are going to need to zip it and attach it to a private message to me. I am going to bypass the new user permissions for ya so you will be able to do this.

The geofencing is pretty cool stuff. tho it does take some life out of the batteries on a mobile phone. They have gotten much better with how long the batteries last. My phone lasts more then a single day with the geofencing running.

Re: Found a new program to check indoor location.

and I forgot to mention. Because the Find application uses the mac address of the AP you can actually set them all to the same channel and all to the same name. This will not alter its readings. No reason to confuse the hell out of any guests in your house with a whole bunch of available AP's to con...
