OoOoO tell me what you did. this is going to be a good thing to be able to get events in EG for these things changing.

Re: Samsung Smart TV Plus

ok so it is responding to the UPNP still. <sec:Capability name="samsung:multiscreen:1" port="8001" location="/ms/1.0/"/> this line is rather amusing. they are so f'ed up over there at samsung they didn't even update the UPNP for the TV to reflect the new websocket port. which is 8002. and they still...

Re: My Home Theater build progress

I'm not so worried about that. It's pretty easy to scrape IMdb for the album art. actually for all of the information. what kind of stuff do you want to show??. how large do you want the font. what font do you want? Draw me a basic idea of what you want to see and where. use the program paint.net th...

Re: My Home Theater build progress

OK so I have a question for ya.

Do you get events in EG for things that start playing?
does said event also include a payload with a path by chance?

Re: My Home Theater build progress

I looked around some, and the usb connection is just for the touchscreen, and it has a VGA output cable plugged into my video cable. I don't know how easy it is to add things to the existing software. I think most of the styling can be created by finding the right backgrounds, fonts, and things lik...

Re: Auto IR Remote Control Button Recorder script/database/share results codes

It's actually funny. I did some work on a project a few years back. it was a pronto library for the Arduino. I made the code work properly as a library. But the guy that started that is the guy that runs the irdb database. I just dropped him a line. IDK if there is an API for his DB. if there is we ...

Re: My Home Theater build progress

If it can be attached as a second display. you should be able to extend the desktop to it, or mirror the desktop on it. That being said If you do not plan to use the touchscreen then making a display for it should be a snap. You can put anything you want on it. You say there is some kind of a box in...

Re: Samsung Smart TV Plus

give this one shot. I found a bunch of issues in my code. I also converted from using the serial number that the TV hands out over UPNP to a device ID. This is because all TV's report the same serial number over UPNP. I fixed the issue with the websockets i believe. I also did want to mention. I wil...
