Re: YouTube Music Playlist in shuffle from eventghost

well aren't you about the luckiest person.. OK so this plugin allows some tab manipulation when working with Google Chrome. http://www.eventghost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=10406 The purpose to this one is so you can enumerate (list) the tabs and what is loaded in the tabs. This next plugin has a...

Re: Threaded Events

As far as the threaded events are concerned. Anyone that has a looping macro will benefit greatly from this change. The looping macros are commonly used when holding a remote button down. Normally while the macro is looping EG is unable to process any events. So if there are 2 remotes being used wit...

It someone is familiar with PHP and would be willing to help me add a plug-in repository to the website that would be a great help. I am PHP ignorant, ...

Re: Plugin Error

The changes you need to make sure in the Windows control panel. If you get the current language and the locale for me I will be able to confirm whether or not it is a virtual one. And using those I can come up with the settings that you will have to adjust so the problem will go away. I have coded u...

Re: Plugin Error

I am going to make an assumption that you are running Windows 10. This has been coming up because of the use of virtual locales in Windows 10. You are using a combination of a language and a locale setting in Windows that is not a "standard". an example is something like German locale using the Engl...

Re: Improved IR handling, receiving and transmitting

In terms of receiving and learning they are almost identical. The only difference is whether to display the received code to the user as a pronto code or to create an event in EventGhost with it. when an ir code gets returned from the receiver it includes the frequency of the code with it. So in all...

Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer

OK I wanted to give everyone an update. I separated what I was working on into 2 pieces. I was going to combine them the decoder and the IR receiver interface but I would like to get you guys something that is working better then this currently is. Plus I could use some testers as well. I am having ...

Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

You see what I am talking about as far as the availability of API documentation. It really SUCKS! You will find commands for the lower models that do no exist on the flagship. This is the things that is proving to be the hard part to tackle. If I recall. The Send Text Action is there so that if a co...

Re: I have some good news..

Oh i'm not going anywhere for the foreseeable future... and even if I decided to not be active I would still pay for the hosting. I would imagine that someone that everyone feels comfortable with would come along to continue the work.

which reminds me.. I have to take care of something.

Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

It's not a new commands thing. It's a firmware thing. commands are tied to specific firmware versions for a given model. They cannot furnish me with a list of commands broken down by model/firmware. They can't even give me a complete list of all commands across all models. and then I would be able t...

Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

what I did for this in terms of the connections was I created a kind of a pass through.. The issue with Denon/Marantz network control is that only a single device can be connected at a time. So if you had say an app on your phone you wanted to use to control the thing. if EG was connected to it.. yo...

Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer

I have been checking that mechanism against the protocols I know the marks and spaces for.. It appears to be working so well that is brings the code right into specification but without any knowledge of the protocol or what the timings are supposed to be as per the specification. I may use this as a...

Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer

OK I wrote the "cleaner" for the Unknown codes. if I fed in these 2 codes. These are in fact the same IR code. There are variations in the timings between the 2 that is considered to be normal. But currently EG will spit out 2 different codes. 8950 -4400 600 -500 650 -500 600 -500 600 -500 650 -500 ...
