Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

I need to get back to this... the return-to- normality after covid gave me very little time for anything... If I remember I'll post my modified files this weekend. I have been integrated them and they appear to work. The events are no longer backward compatible, as I extended the payload to contain ...

Re: lg webos via Python

Yep... Would that be before or after adding the O-Mega interface....

Now just finalizing the interfacing in Loxone and with the Squeezebox and amplifier.
Next software functions (which is easier), and then the TV... :)

Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

Thanks for the info! It is not that important for me (I don't feel the need to have this quick bass/treble adjustment), but was puzzled. There are some other functions that should not work according to the manual, but do, and other that do not work even though they should. So I attributed it to that...

Re: lg webos via Python

Yes, there are several... There is this one ( http://eventghost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5415 , which turned into the LG-2012IP plugin ( http://www.eventghost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6144 ), but I cannot get it to accept the TV. I suspect that the authentication has changed, as the docum...

lg webos via Python

Hello, I found this python library ( https://pypi.org/project/pywebostv/ ) to communicate with an LG TV. I manage to get some things done in scripts, but am not sure how to start writing a plugin... In "C:\Program Files (x86)\EventGhost\lib27\site-packages", I added the folders pywebostv and ws4py w...

Re: Error message on startup... how to find where?

Sorry... Small panic...
I've narrowed it down to one of my own Python scripts... I did not realize there are loaded even when disabled... now to figure out which one

Error message on startup... how to find where?

Hello, I've sudden started getting errormessages on startup, and I have no idea how to start looking. The messages are: EventGhost.Startup Tuesday, May 12th, 2020 @ 19:38:56 PM Autostart System.Monitor.On Main.OnInit System.PowerSource.Line System.PowerSaving.Off System.PowerProfile.Balanced Error c...

Re: Any recommendations for eg tree structures?

Things are nicely shaping up... Before I had a connection for every status from the amplifier to EG, and from EG to the Loxone, and similarly in the reverse direction for every command to the amplifier. Now, using the new (modified) marantz plugin, I can catch all events, and post a http command to ...

Webserver plugin: put something in payload?

Hello, Small question... Is it possible to put something in the payload on an url? I can post to the website something like this: http://192.168.2.60/control.html?test=8 which triggers an event HTTP.test=8 [] Is there a way to get e.g the value 8 in the payload from some formatting in the URL? (not ...

Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

I am still in the process of adding commands for my amplifier, but I will need to do some more modifications: I am putting more data in payload, as this facilitates passing whatever was recognized to the subsequent action. This may break compatibility with the current plugin though... When I have it...

Re: xAP Plugin

Ok! The xAP still is one of the most core things for the communication with the Music Server, so I really appreciate it. :) Still an issue with the target... First, the list is no longer populated as it was before (so the music server, nor the xfx viewer show up). Sending to a different address also...

Re: xAP Plugin

I'll try later today. :) The loxone is quite limited: no software extensions of any kind, and on network it only supports udp (in/out, but it only allows input of single bytes or valies, not text), http input (e.g. from a web service), tcp output, and virtual inputs (http calls to set data in blocks...

Re: xAP Plugin

Just to get back to xAP: I have been playing with the possibilities in Loxone, and may have to resort to the Broadcast plugin to send things to and receive from Loxone, it may be easier as I have problems formatting the packets to fit the xAP standard (Loxone does not really like text values). The x...
