Re: I want to say Thank You

Came to the forums to look for info, in order to help another user. I'm currently using an older release and, as long as it works correctly, I'm not updating. On the other hand, I've understood what you went through to guarantee us a stable home and it's much appreciated. Wasn't aware that you were ...

Re: Marantz/Denon Plugin Development

Any update on this? Any other TCP/IP Denon plugin available somewhere?

Re: Yamaha RX-Vxxx (or similar) Ethernet Plugin!

Hi Dragon470, did you manage to look into the "Copy as Python" thing that I reported? I went around it but it still remains strange, doesn't it?

Re: Yamaha RX-Vxxx (or similar) Ethernet Plugin!

For now I solved it going around the problem (I love EG so much for its flexibility!). Instead of having the python script calling the plugin directly, I have it generate an event, placing the Yamaha actions in a couple of macros, triggered by that event. I'm so happy, this has been a pet peeve of m...

Re: Yamaha RX-Vxxx (or similar) Ethernet Plugin!

Hi! Thanks for the help. Ok, it worked with this command: <Main_Zone><Sound_Video><Adaptive_DRC>Auto</Adaptive_DRC></Sound_Video></Main_Zone> Now, since I want to automate Adaptive DRC according to the time of day, I'm trying to adapt a python script I found and I use "Copy as Python" to do it. The ...

Re: Yamaha RX-Vxxx (or similar) Ethernet Plugin!

Hi! I have the full list of commands accepted from my Aventage RX-A3010 and I see that Adaptive DRC, which I often use at night, is controlled through @MAIN:ADAPTIVEDRC=Parameter where paramenter can be either Auto or Off. I don't find this command in the plugin and the "Send any command action" ref...

Re: Error when ending the Wait action

The machine wakes up from standby and, on resume, waits a certain amount of time before launching XBMC. That's due to the need for HDMI to correctly communicate with my receiver and TV.

Great! Can I add that manually, without needing to drag and drop from the log window? Meaning, can I create manually an event? Maybe this is in the wiki, I haven't checked yet.

Re: Executing stuff on shutdown, plus standby stuff.

Ahh.. I played around with it. I could create an event called System.QuerySuspend . Associated Action was "Start Program" in the options I checked "Wait till application is terminated". My action does get triggered when system is suspended however there seems to be some timeout built in too because...

Re: Executing stuff on shutdown, plus standby stuff.

Argh... I don't want to create a macro to shutdown the PC. I want to create a macro that gets executed when the PC is shutdown. Shutdown is the event in this case, not the action inside the macro. I want to be able to shutdown the machine normally (Start, etc.) and have EventGhost detect this and ex...

Re: Executing stuff on shutdown, plus standby stuff.

I hate to insist but it's a simple question. Maybe there is not a specific event, maybe it's not possible to delay standby, I don't know.

Please help me. :)

Re: Executing stuff on shutdown, plus standby stuff.

Anyone? I suppose it's a common enough need... and to clarify, the shutdown I'm referring to would be initiated by standard Windows procedures, otherwise my question wouldn't have any meaning.

Executing stuff on shutdown, plus standby stuff.

What's the exact event to use for triggering an action at shutdown? The log gets cleared...

Also, is there some function to stall standby and shutdown procedures, in order to execute specific actions?
